ELKA R Series — R02wo-0814 "Tour des Chavannes: Pierre d'Hauterive"A vibrant tribute to Neuchâtel's architecture and the heritage of 16 Rue des Chavannes. The R02wo-0814 edition draws its inspiration from the yellow limestone of the famous Hauterive quarry—used since Roman times to build Aventicum, and later in 1899 for the building erected on the site of the former tower. Its sand-colored dial evokes cut stone and echoes the finishes of our boutique, while its black inscriptions replicate the delicate Chinese ink strokes used by 19th-century engineers. At 6 o'clock, the dial proudly displays the "TOUR DES CHAVANNES" signature, whose typography faithfully reproduces the handwritten lettering traced by engineer Henri Ladame on his original plans dated July 29, 1867.
