ELKA R01wo-0807

ELKA R Series — R01wo-0817 "Tour des Chavannes: 1736 Edition"A striking tribute to the monumental clock that once set the rhythm of life for the people of Neuchâtel from the top of the historic tower. The R01wo-0817 edition draws its direct inspiration from the historical dial painted by heraldist and sign painter Samuel Müller in 1736. It plays on a bold and sophisticated contrast between deep black and gold, capturing the visual codes of the landmark Neuchâtel dial to celebrate the era when monumental watchmaking dictated the pulse of the city. At 6 o'clock, the dial proudly displays the "TOUR DES CHAVANNES" signature, whose typography faithfully reproduces the handwritten lettering traced by engineer Henri Ladame on his original architectural plans dated July 29, 1867. Housed in a case measuring 40.8 mm in diameter and 10.80 mm in thickness, this timepiece features elegant curved lines and a Chevé-Box sapphire crystal, specially designed to recreate the vintage aesthetic of historic Hésalite crystals while providing exceptional modern durability. It is powered by the La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement (manufactured in La Chaux-de-Fonds), offering a comfortable 68-hour power reserve and uncompromising Swiss watchmaking precision. A masterclass in heritage and design, bridging centuries of local history with contemporary horological excellence.
