I'm still buzzing from the incredible news: my creation, the Elka Arinis AF02-0804, has just been named the TEMPORIS Best Start-up Watch at the TEMPORIS International Awards. This is an immense honor and, for me, a truly monumental moment.
For decades, I worked behind the scenes in the watch industry. I learned from the best and contributed to some incredible projects, but I always had a deep-seated dream of creating something that was entirely my own.
Launching Elka was that dream brought to life—a risky, exhilarating journey that I embarked on alone. Every detail of the Arinis AF02-0804, from the initial sketch to the final polish, was a labor of love. There were long nights and moments of self-doubt, but the vision of what this watch could be always kept me going.
