Christian Coigny is a renowned Swiss photographer known for his work in traditional black and white photography. Based near Lausanne, he has built a career working with film, a medium he prefers for its tactile nature and the ability to create unaltered images in the darkroom.His work is influenced by American painters such as Edward Hopper and Georgia O'Keefe, whom he discovered during a five-year stay in San Francisco. Coigny is known for his ability to capture light and shadow with great skill, creating elegant and timeless images of still life, nudes, and landscapes.In addition to his personal artistic projects, Coigny has had a successful career in publicity and fashion, working with major brands like Hermès, Chopard, and Hublot.
